Week 18

This week I spent tying up loose ends with my writeups. I got some great feedback on a previous assignment, where I realised I wrote far too much. With some effort, I managed to go from 30 pages to only 22! Removing some sections of code and downsizing my images did more than I thought it would.

After getting my feedback, I realise that I need to make sure that I use more depth rather than breadth, I also now realise I don’t need to put absolutely all my code in my documentation, only what needs further explaining. In my future projects I am going to task myself to write less, and to write more concisely.

I finished up on my essay and checked over my developer journal to make sure that everything was up to date. I already had organised my zip files into my final hand-in folder, however I’ve made a few changes so I went back and replaced the old files.

It’s been quite intense wrapping things up these past few weeks, as I wanted to make sure I was satisfied with everything, so I’ll be glad when it is all handed in.

I’m excited for the next project! It’ll been interesting working with a group, and no matter how it turns out I’ll be happy to see people from the CT+R cohort more often again.
