Week 14

This week I implemented touch interaction with my prefab!

After a long time of trying to debug, I came to the realisation that my press action had lost its keybinding somehow even when I had already set it. This was quite annoying, however it was easy to fix. Once I solved this, my interaction worked! My sound and colour change interactions both worked after this change.

I really enjoyed this project and whilst it was short, I felt it was a calm process for the most part. I had fun learning more about blender. The week before gave me some trouble but that is all fixed now.

It was also nice to talk about Pokemon Go as one of my chosen AR products to talk about. I used to play a lot of pokemon go so it was nice to be able to research deeper into an interest of mine.

I also attended a lecture about starting your own business. I felt as though it was really inciteful. I learned a lot about how to set up and business and what I need to consider. Rob, the lecturer, had some points I never considered. Such as how to advertise for your business’s target demographic, or how to take into account that some times of year might be better for your business than others depending on your product.

I also had an individual tutorial this week, it went well. It was good to discuss my ideas for my personal planning folder. Over the weekend I rewrote my CV to include more recent information, I also formatted it into 1 page instead of 2. I also made the layout look more pleasing to the eyes, I’m proud of it.
